Why Kelai?
Kelai is a zero friction notes and knowledge management app. It allows you to capture notes in an unstructured format and then render it later with any structure you like. In this way, it caters to both minimalists and power users.
If you've used apps like Evernote, Notion, Obsidian, or Apple Notes, you've probably spent some time thinking about the best way to organize your notes. Each time you've recorded new information you've probably taken time to think about where it should go or how it should be tagged. Sometimes it's obvious, but sometimes it's not. There may have even been times you've wanted to record something but decided not to, simply because it didn't fit neatly into your organizational system. Maybe you've had to revamp your system multiple times because it didn't work out as expected.
Kelai takes a unique approach to knowledge management. Because there are no tags or folders, it frees you from having to think about organization while capturing information. Kelai's powerful "Narratives" feature allows you to structure captured information. Each narrative represents a category of information to retrieve and/or track over time. Narratives are automatically updated as new information is captured. You can also use Kelai's chat feature to have a freeform conversation about the content of your notes.
